Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag showed just how excited he was to have Casemiro join his squad when the pair met each other for the first time at United's training ground.
Casemiro made his first appearance in a United shirt during the club's 1-0 victory against Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday. The player may have only played for the final 10 minutes but there was plenty of excitement around his cameo, as the 30-year-old midfielder helped the Reds hang on to their lead when it looked like Saints might find an equaliser.
The Brazilian could make his full debut on Thursday night when United take on Leicester at the King Power Stadium. United are looking to make it three wins in a row, something that even the most optimistic fan would not have envisaged after the Brentford defeat.

Ten Hag knows that Casemiro will add an element of steel and rigidity to his midfield that will be vital in what is widely regarded as the most competitive league in the world. The former Real Madrid man is exactly what United need, and the Dutchman was clearly delighted when he met Casemiro at Carrington two days before United's 2-1 win over Liverpool.
As Casemiro entered Ten Hag's office, the United manager could be heard shouting "yes!" as he leapt out of his chair and rubbed his hands together in excitement before laughing and embracing his new signing. A "nice to meet you" followed from the Dutchman.
A short while earlier, Casemiro had been greeted at Carrington by United's football director John Murtough, who said: "Case, how are you? Good to see you my friend, are you ok?" With a smile on his face, Casemiro replied: "Good, good."
Casemiro returned to Madrid for his farewell press conference on 22 August before flying back to Manchester for his on-field unveiling ahead of the win against Liverpool.
