For many clubs around Europe, including Arsenal, the transfer window slammed shut last night. But, several top-flight leagues still have a few days until they are due to draw a line under their summer endeavours.
With the Gunners yet to offload a few players, technical director Edu is still able to move them on, potentially unlocking a healthy cash windfall and tee Mikel Arteta up nicely for the January window. Reiss Nelson and Mohamed Elneny have been heavily linked with departures from the Emirates Stadium lately, so an exit isn't entirely off of the cards.
And, that goes for a handful of Hale End youngsters too, who may be seeking a loan move in order to secure senior first-team opportunities. Whether it be Nelson and Elneny or George Lewis and Matt Smith, football.london have taken a look at the most likely potential destinations for any player still pushing for an exit.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League - September 6
From the 15 countries in Europe where the summer transfer window is still open, the Jupiler Pro League is one of two of the most desirable destinations of them all. Here, either of the Arsenal players could join the likes of Club Brugge, Anderlecht, KAA Gent or KRC Genk, who all hold European pedigree.
The Belgian top-flight is known to have housed and developed some of the world's leading players, so a loan move here would be optimal for Nelson.
Turkey, The Süper Lig - September 8
As aforementioned, the Jupiler Pro League is one of two of the most desirable destinations in Europe where a country's summer transfer window is still open. The other is the Süper Lig in Turkey.
Elneny spent the 2019/20 season in the Turkish top-flight after having briefly fallen out of favour under Arteta at Arsenal. The 30-year-old featured 27 times for Besiktas and impressed.
It must be said that the Süper Lig is a league which is building in stature, with a growing presence in European competitions. And, it's hard to overlook the incredible football fan culture in Turkey too.
Czech Republic, Fortuna Liga - September 8
While the Fortuna Liga may not be as attractive as the Jupiler Pro League or the Süper Lig, Czech clubs are as well represented in UEFA's competitions, which bodes well for any interested suitor. Beyond the three title contenders, Turkey probably has a more competitive league.
Russia, Russian Premier League - September 8
Exchanges between the Russian top-flight and the Premier League have already causes a few issues given the current international circumstances, with the FA overruling Chelsea's bid for Arsen Zakharyan. Any potential move could be difficult to engineer, even if a player wants the move.
