Celtic almost signed £35m-rated Fulham defender Antonee Robinson.
Ex-Parkhead boss Neil Lennon has revealed how, during his second stint in charge in Glasgow's east end, he looked to sign the USA international.
Robinson has been a standout for Fulham in the English Premier League in recent seasons, but before he moved to Craven Cottage, the left-back could have joined Celtic.

Indeed, the Scottish Premiership champions looked to bring Robinson north of the border just before he almost signed for Serie A giants AC Milan: "One January deal we showed interest in was signing Antonee Robinson from Wigan before he came so close to joining AC Milan," Lennon told casino-uden-rofus.co.
"Sometimes you have three or four deals spinning at once and we showed a bit of interest when he was at Wigan, look at how well he has gone on to do for Fulham.
"There is a list of players like that but transfer windows can be chaotic as well as exciting. It’s hard to do decent business in that window."
Just 18 months ago, Fulham slapped a £35m price tag on Robinson amid interest from fellow English top-flight side Newcastle United, per The Standard.
Much like to Celtic, a switch to St. James' Park never came to fruition for the 27-year-old, who has picked up an impressive 10 assists in 24 appearances down south this season.
