Leeds United duo Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson will be looking to pull off a World Cup upset when their USA side face the Netherlands tomorrow.
Having sustained an unbeaten run in Group B, the USA progressed into the knockout stages alongside England following a 1-0 triumph over Iran and have been rewarded with a fixture against Louis Van Gaal's Dutch side.
Their performances in Qatar have, undoubtedly, been worthy of qualification. Boss Gregg Berhalter has installed an admirable level of fitness and tactical discipline into his American team, which was apparent in a dominative 0-0 draw with the Three Lions.

However, overcoming the Netherlands is far from a straightforward task. Under the stewardship of Van Gaal, who can boast a 2014 World Cup third-place finish on his CV, for the third time, Oranje cruised to the top Group A.
Despite being on top form at all times, their place in the knockout stages was never under threat. Leeds target Cody Gakpo has starred for his nation, netting three goals in as many group games against Senegal, Ecuador and Qatar on the way to securing seven points.
The tie pits two sides that surprisingly failed to qualify for the 2018 edition up against each other. A win for the USA will equal their best-ever finish of a quarter-final, whilst you would imagine the Netherlands have eyes set on winning their first World Cup.
