Arsenal suffered just their second Premier League defeat of the season on Saturday afternoon, losing 1-0 to Everton at Goodison Park.
The north Londoners struggled to impose themselves on proceedings in Merseyside, with the Toffees dominating in Sean Dyche's first match in their managerial dugout. Eventually, it was one of Dyche's favourite players from his days with Burnley who netted the only goal of the game in the form of James Tarkowski.
Tarkowski rose highest from a second-half Everton corner before heading the ball past a helpless Aaron Ramsdale. The Gunners were unable to respond and their lead at the top of the table could be cut to just two points if Manchester City beat Tottenham Hotspur later today.
