When Aston Villa appointed Steven Gerrard, no one knew how the former Rangers boss would fare in the Premier League.
But the Liverpool legend hit the ground running and has adopted an extremely attractive brand of football at Villa, and has aspirations of making them one of the 'big six'.
Gerrard stunned the Premier League as he brought in former team-mate Philippe Coutinho on-loan from Barcelona, and the Brazilian made an instant impact off the bench to score against Manchester United.
Although it was an extremely high-profile deal, this could just be the start as Gerrard is targeting multiple blockbuster deals next summer to lift Villa Park even more.
It's likely that Villa will do everything that they can to make Coutinho's loan deal permanent, and it's been rumoured that Gerrard is keen on expanding his Liverpool reunion by signing Luis Suarez, according to Express Sport.
The 35-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and could be tempted by one final test in the Premier League, where he performed so well for Liverpool between 2011-2014.
The Uruguayan almost led Liverpool to the Premier League title, and with 82 goals in 133 games during his time in England, he could certainly do a job for Villa.
Gerrard is yet to nail down his no.9, with Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings interchanging regularly, but if Suarez was to arrive at Villa Park there would be no debate.

Another area that Villa are reportedly targeting is the midfield, as Douglas Luiz' future remains uncertain, and John McGinn continues to be linked with a move away.
AC Milan star Franck Kessie is also out of contract in the summer, and Gerrard also believes that the Ivorian can take Villa to the next level, although signing him will be a much tougher task.
Competition is high for Kessie, with Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus all linked with a summer move, with the Catalan side reportedly agreeing terms with the midfielder already.
But Kessie isn't the only midfielder being linked with a move, as Yves Bissouma is attracting interest from Brighton, and Gerrard could complete his midfield, and they tried to sign him in January.
Villa just beat Brighton 2-0 away from home, and Bissouma may have liked what he saw when being ripped apart by Gerrard's side, but a price-tag of £50million has been set.
Should Villa sign Coutinho, it;s likely that the size of the fee will influence other moves in the summer, but Gerrard appears ready for a major cash injection ahead of next season.
Potential Aston Villa team (4-3-3): Emiliano Martinez, Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings, Lucas Digne, Franck Kessie, Yves Bissouma, Jacob Ramsey, Philippe Coutinho, Luis Suarez, Ollie Watkins
