No. 7 Houston's upcoming basketball game against Utah has been rescheduled due to severe weather conditions expected in the Houston area. Originally set for Tuesday night, the game will now take place on Wednesday at 5 p.m. CST. This decision was made in light of the National Weather Service's forecast of 3-5 inches of snow across much of the Houston metropolitan area.

The postponement of the men's game also had a ripple effect on the Houston women's basketball team. Their scheduled game against Texas Tech, initially planned for Wednesday night, has been moved up to 1 p.m. to accommodate a doubleheader with the men's team.

As a precautionary measure, both William P. Hobby Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston have announced the suspension of flight operations on Tuesday in anticipation of hazardous weather conditions. This move aims to ensure the safety of travelers and airport personnel amidst the expected snowfall.

Despite the disruption caused by the weather, the Houston Cougars remain focused on their impressive 10-game winning streak as they prepare to face off against Utah. Fans and supporters of both teams will need to adjust their schedules accordingly to catch the rescheduled games.
