Houston Police Identify Suspect In Mcdonald's Shooting

The Houston Police Department has identified a suspect in connection with the tragic killing of a local attorney at a McDonald's in Houston. The suspect, Anthony Martin Landry, 57, is wanted for murder in the shooting death of 46-year-old Jeffrey Limmer. The incident took place at the McDonald's located at 8147 Katy Freeway on May 4, around 6 p.m., when officers responded to reports of a shooting.

Upon arriving at the fast food restaurant, authorities discovered Limmer, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive. Despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics, Limmer was pronounced dead at the scene. It was revealed that Limmer had intervened in a dispute between an irate customer and McDonald's employees, leading to the fatal shooting.

The suspect, Landry, allegedly retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and shot Limmer before fleeing the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck from the early 2000s. As of the latest update, Landry remains at large, with law enforcement actively pursuing him.

In response to the identification of a suspect in Limmer's death, his family issued a statement expressing their grief and seeking justice for their loved one. The community is urged to provide any information that may assist in apprehending Landry and bringing closure to this tragic incident.
