Those looking to make hundreds every month might be able to do so if they have a car or driveway that they don't really use.
The consumer experts at Which? say that you can earn up to £800 a month by renting out a parking spot or garage.
Households looking to cash in can do this through using sites such as JustPark and YourParkingSpace to share their space with locals who are searching for a guaranteed parking spot.
If it's your car that you're willing to share, apps such as Turo, Hiyacar, Karshare, and Getaround could help you save some extra money.
Some vehicle owners that Which? asked said they earn an extra £400 a month using apps to rent out their cars.
Reena Sewraz, Which? Money Expert, said: "Many people are feeling financial pressure at the moment as high food, energy and fuel prices squeeze household budgets.
"However, there are steps you can take that could help you make some extra cash this year."
She says that renting out your car or driveway could be "something a bit different" to help people make money this year.
There's some money for EV owners who have home charging, too. Sites including JustCharge and Co Charger allow you to set your own rates for electricity and manage bookings.
This comes as RAC Charge Watch data finds that fast charging prices have surged by up to 50 percent, while home charging remains more cost-effective.
RAC EV spokesperson Simon Williams said: "For drivers to switch to electric cars en masse, it’s vital that the numbers stack up.
"In time, the list price of new electric models will come down but charging quickly has also got to be as affordable as possible."
