Two men who admitted stealing from a vulnerable man in his Bristol home have been jailed. When they entered the home one man put a knife to the victim's throat while they stole low value items from him.
Darren Jordan, 44, of Shaftesbury Avenue, Bristol, pleaded guilty to theft and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Dean Ludlow, 51, of Wade Street, Bristol, pleaded guilty to theft.
Judge Martin Picton jailed Jordan for 13 months. He imposed a six-week prison sentence on Ludlow.

Anjali Gohil, prosecuting, told Bristol Crown Court after threats were made to the victim the men turned up at his home and one held a knife to his throat. When the terrified complainant reacted he sustained a cut finger.
Miss Gohil said the men stole some items, including medication which was later recovered from them. The complainant made an impact statement in which he said the incident left him paranoid.
He said: "I had a phone call saying I was a dead man walking. I don't like to stay in one place too long, I'm scared of people associating with Darren Jordan."
Jordan's barrister Lucy Taylor said the cut sustained by the complainant was akin to a paper cut. She conceded her client had burglary with intent to steal as a previous conviction.
Ludlow's barrister Michael Hall said: "He needs to work, he needs to have a job. He needs to stop with the drugs.
"He is 51, a remarkably intelligent man and he's wasted his life to date. He's been trapped in this cycle, he comes out (of jail), he has no money, it goes the same way again and he's sick and tired of it."
