Congressional Republicans, including members of the House and Senate, have repeatedly raised concerns with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the Biden administration regarding the potential link between terrorism and the porous southern border.
The FBI disclosed that Jabbar, a U.S. citizen from Houston, Texas, had expressed support for ISIS prior to the attack on Wednesday. The incident has reignited discussions about national security and border control measures.
