House raided after man 'spotted selling drugs' by police

Three men were arrested for a range of offences after police spotted a man reportedly dealing drugs.

A 27-year-old man from Woodchurch was arrested on March 13 after officers believed they sighted him dealing drugs in the Birkenhead area. He attempted to run but was found at a nearby address by Merseyside Police.

After two related addresses were searched, the man was further arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and possession of criminal property after a quantity of cash, suspected cannabis and cocaine was recovered by officers.

Also on March 13, a 21-year-old man from Birkenhead was arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs, after cannabis and cash were both found at an address. Police say this investigation is ongoing.

A 28-year-old man from Seacombe was also arrested by officers in Birkenhead on suspicion of Section 47 Assault, Affray and S4 Public Order offences after an incident last year at a public house in Liscard.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "If you have any information about the storage and supply of drugs in your community, please contact the Merseyside Police Contact Centre on Facebook, Merseyside Police Contact Centre on Twitter or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at : https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ and we will take action."
