House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer recently shared updates on the ongoing impeachment inquiry in a fundraising email sent to voters. Comer indicated that 'criminal referrals' would be the culmination of the investigation, pointing to evidence of alleged wrongdoing by President Biden and his family.

In the email, Comer criticized Democrats for their opposition to impeaching Biden's Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He highlighted the challenges faced in pursuing impeachment, citing the reluctance of some Democrats to address the issue.

Concerns raised about Democratic majority dismissing impeachment articles swiftly.

While House Republicans previously voted to impeach Mayorkas over the border crisis, the impeachment articles have yet to be sent to the Senate. Comer expressed concerns about the Democratic majority potentially dismissing the articles swiftly.

Comer emphasized the importance of holding the Bidens accountable through criminal referrals, stating that it is the best way to ensure justice is served. He underscored the need for a new leadership at the Department of Justice to prosecute what he referred to as the 'Biden Crime Family.'

Despite acknowledging the challenges in the current political climate, Comer remained committed to pursuing the investigation. He highlighted the significance of uncovering evidence of public corruption by the Biden family and assessing whether it amounts to high crimes and misdemeanors.

Other Republican lawmakers involved in the inquiry echoed Comer's sentiments, emphasizing the investigative nature of the impeachment inquiry. They stressed the importance of gathering information before making any decisions on impeachment.

As the inquiry continues, the focus remains on uncovering any potential wrongdoing by the Biden family and determining the appropriate course of action based on the evidence gathered.
