House of Games fans may not know Richard Osman has a famous wife

House of Games star Richard Osman has shared a beautiful snap of himself and his new bride after they tied the knot on Saturday (December 3).

The TV presenter and author, 51, married Ingrid Oliver after two years together, the Mirror reports. Sharing the news on Twitter, Richard wrote: "The most magical, joyful day on Saturday with my beautiful wife @ingridoliver100.

"Surrounded by wonderful friends and family, a day full of love and laughter. We're so, so happy."

The couple married at Goodwood House, the Duke of Richmond’s seat in West Sussex, not far from where Richard grew up in the county. TV fans may recognise Ingrid from roles in Doctor Who, Peep Show, Plebs and Silent Witness.

Fans were quick to wish the newlyweds well. Replying to the tweet, Jane Duke said: "Someone you don't know from Adam here sending their congratulations, because I am so very VERY glad you have found each other and are so happy. That's really lovely."

Tim Berry said: "Congratulations! When it came to the objections part of the wedding, if the registrar didn’t say, 'We asked a hundred people in the congregation if they object…' and then do the Pointless countdown to zero, that’s an opportunity missed."

Kelly said: "Congratulations to both of you, look at the pure happiness on your faces. Here's to your happy ever after x".
