House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is set to attend incoming President Donald Trump's traditional luncheon on Inauguration Day Monday, as confirmed by a source familiar with his plans. Jeffries, who holds the top Democratic position in the House, is a member of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies and is expected to participate in all of the ceremonial events surrounding the inauguration.
