The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Jim Jordan, is currently holding a hearing on the Biden-Harris border crisis. The focus of the hearing is on the victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens, with families of the victims present to provide testimony.
During the hearing, Jim Jordan highlighted the tragic stories of individuals such as Jocelyn Nungari, Noah Rodriguez, Kayla Hamilton, Weston Funder, Rachel Marin, Laken, Riley, Maria Gonzalez, Sam Fagan, and Gabriel Fagan, all of whom lost their lives due to crimes committed by illegal aliens. Jordan emphasized that each victim had a promising future and was loved by their families, attributing their deaths to the Biden-Harris open border policies.
He further criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden for their handling of immigration, citing instances where criminal illegal aliens were released into the country and went on to commit heinous acts. Jordan stressed that every crime committed by illegal aliens was preventable and called out the administration for failing to secure the border.
The National Border Patrol Council President, Paul Perez, expressed dismay over the administration's immigration policies and the surge in illegal border crossings. A poll revealed that a majority of Americans hold Kamala Harris accountable for the border crisis, with many expressing dissatisfaction with her support for illegal immigrants.
Comparing the number of illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris administration to the Trump era, statistics showed a significant increase in border crossings. Jordan disputed Biden's claim of receiving endorsement from the Border Patrol and asserted that the organization would never support a candidate who advocates for open borders.
When asked about trust in handling immigration, respondents favored Donald Trump over Kamala Harris, citing Trump's past experience in securing the border. Jordan expressed confidence in Trump's ability to address immigration issues effectively and ensure the safety of the American public.
