Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) detectives in Ards and North Down have issued an appeal for witnesses following reports of an other petrol bomb attack on a home in Co Down. The latest incident happened last night (Wednesday, March 29), in Donaghadee.
It follows similar attacks in Bangor and Newtonards some 24 hours earlier. All are being linked to an ongoing drug feud between two rival gangs, police say.

A statement issued in the early hours of Thursday morning by the force's Detective Sergeant Bell read: "Shortly before 9:50pm on Wednesday 29th March, officers received a report that a house in the Beechfield Drive area had been petrol bombed.
"The fire was extinguished and thankfully, there was no one in the property at the time. Enquiries are continuing, and at this stage, it is believed that the incident is linked to an ongoing feud between two rival drug gangs in the Ards and North Down area.
"We are following a number of lines of enquiry. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area this eveing and saw anything suspicious, or anyone who may have any information which may assist us with our enquiries to call 101, quoting reference number 2055 of March 29."
Earlier this week police charged two men following disturbances in North Down. The pair, both aged 30, face several serious charges.
One of the men has been charged with arson endangering life with intent, intimidation causing a person to leave a residence or occupation, possessing petrol bombs in suspicious circumstances and throwing a petrol bomb.
Meanwhile, three men – aged 29, 50, and 53 – arrested under the Terrorism Act have all been released following questioning.
A number of properties have been attacked in recent days, and there have been attempted hijackings and graffiti daubed on properties.
