House hunters have 'so many questions' about one feature of stunning Dublin home up for sale

Irish house hunters are divided over the interiors of a recent addition to the Dublin market for its bizarre feature.

The three-bedroom home went on sale for €975,000 and is located in Glasnevin in Dublin.

Pictures of the home’s interior were shared by the seller on Daft.ie, catching many prospective buyers’ eyes.

It features an entrance hall, living room, kitchen, and dining room downstairs as well as, a utility, and one bathroom.

Upstairs then houses three large bedrooms with a master ensuite and a second bathroom with a bath.

And it’s that second bathroom’s design that saw it end up on Reddit, with people jumping to comment on its ‘retro’ design.

An image of the room was posted and since then has attracted many commenters because the bathroom is in fact carpeted.

One person responded to the image saying: “You can't post this pic without the link, I need to see more of this interior design masterpiece.”

After the link to the Daft post was published, even more people began to comment on the style of the house and “needed” to know who was living there.

The mystery was quickly solved when one woman replied saying: “My word, my aunt's neighbour's house, must see what she thinks.”

Moments later she posted again and said: “Right, got the goss, the house has been empty for 33 years, no wonder the interior is the way it is.”

People remained divided on the 80s/90s style with one person saying: “Rest of the room aside, I really like the wall tiles but I'm on a bit of a Mid-Century Modern buzz at the moment.”

Another wrote: “The wall tiles are gorgeous. The rest needs burning. And what is that mosaic basin doing distracting from those tiles? And who carpets their actual bathtub? I have so many questions.”
