Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, a member of the House Ethics Committee, expressed support for fellow Democratic Rep. Sean Casten's efforts to make the panel's report on Matt Gaetz public. DeSaulnier stated that Casten's push to release the report is appropriate and anticipates that the House will vote on the matter.

DeSaulnier highlighted that the debate on the report's release will be open and transparent, providing valuable insights to the House members. He acknowledged that while the report won't be subject to the same ethics rules as the committee, it is crucial for Casten to pursue this action.

Additionally, Rep. Steve Cohen also made a similar attempt to obtain the report through a floor vote, indicating a bipartisan interest in transparency regarding the investigation.
