During a recent meeting at the White House, House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries refrained from offering his endorsement to President Joe Biden. According to a source familiar with the meeting, Jeffries candidly expressed the views of the caucus, as outlined in a letter, but deliberately chose not to publicly endorse Biden or state that the decision to withdraw from the campaign should be left to Biden.

Although it remains unclear whether Biden directly requested Jeffries' endorsement, another source familiar with the situation revealed that Jeffries did not provide it during the meeting or in a public letter issued on Friday.
