Fresh flakes are set to fall tomorrow, as the filled up sky erupts with snow and sleet across the region.
While Newcastle and its surrounding areas managed to dodge any new lay on Wednesday, Thursday will play host to a flash flood of the white stuff late in the morning. After the manic couple of hours, the outlook is partially sunny - with temperatures bouncing between 2C and -2C according to the Met Office.
Friday is set to be more tame but filled with thick white clouds from start to finish. A yellow weather warning for ice and snow remains in place until midnight tomorrow.
