Hotel in historic village known as 'gateway to Highlands' put on market

A POPULAR hotel in a historic village known as the “gateway to the Highlands” has gone on sale.

The Crianlarich Hotel, which sits in the village of the same name on the northern edge of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, is on the market for offers over £1.75 million.

Also included in the sale of the 36-room hotel is the nearby Glenbruar House, which has five en-suite letting rooms, as well as on-site staff accommodation in the form of two additional dwellings, Laurelbank and Evergreen, and two static caravans.

There is also more than five acres of land, which selling agents Graham and Sibbald said leads to the banks of the River Fillan, which is popular for fly-fishing.

The hotel offers a variety of bar, restaurant, function, and lounge facilities to relax and socialise after enjoying the surrounding nature trails and picturesque views, the agents said.
