Love Island is cranking up the heat this series, with a gas engineer all set to fire in the villa.
Looking for love among this summer’s set of singletons is Sheffield plumber and heating expert Mitchel Taylor, 26, who will make sure temperatures don’t boil over in Majorca.
A source said: “Mitchel is hot stuff, and he’s ready to find love in the villa.
“When he’s not pumping water, he’s pumping iron, so the girls will swoon over his hunky physique and piercing blue eyes. And he’s a real family boy, too.”
He’ll also be able to save them a fortune on their energy bills next winter, when he gives their boilers a once over.
As well as filling his personal Instagram profile with pretty pictures of himself, potential suitors can check out all the goods he has on offer thanks to Mitchel’s work account, which is filled with images of various boilers he has installed that he shares to his 202 followers .
That’s a far cry from some of the typical Islander influencer accounts.
However, this series, bosses have continued their ban on family members taking over control of the contestants’ social media accounts during their time in the villa after relatives were bombarded with death threats and hateful messages.
So it’s good to know none of those Vaillants will be getting a kicking behind Mitchel’s back.
The new series, hosted by Maya Jama, kicks off on June 5 at 9pm on ITV2.
