Hostage Families Forum Responds To Netanyahu's Speech

The Hostage and Missing Families Forum in Israel has responded to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to US Congress on Wednesday. The group expressed disappointment that the words 'Deal Now!' were absent from the Prime Minister’s address.

People gathered at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv to watch Netanyahu’s speech, hoping to hear updates on the status of ceasefire negotiations. However, Netanyahu did not touch on this topic during his nearly 52-minute address, despite months of international pressure to find a deal.

Noam Peri, daughter of Chaim Peri, who the Israeli government last month said died in Hamas captivity, emphasized the urgency of reaching a deal. She urged the Prime Minister to sign the deal and save the hostages who are alive and fighting for their lives every moment.

Eli Albaz, father of Liri Albaz, currently held hostage in Gaza, expressed frustration with the lack of progress. He stated that stories are no longer sufficient and emphasized that without a deal, there will be no forgiveness or revival.
