A brewery in Horsforth has opened its doors to people working from home in a bid to help with the cost of living crisis.
Energy costs have continued to surge across the country, meaning a lot of families are worried about putting their heating on this winter - hundreds of people are currently working from home, Horsforth Brewery have decided to open their doors as a 'work-space' to help those struggling.
The Taproom, which is part of the Horsforth Brewery, has turned into a work space for people who are home working and perhaps can't afford to heat their homes or just fancy a social space to work.

Owner of the Horsforth Brewery, Mark Costello, said: "We are quite aware of the cost of living crisis, we see the newspaper headlines, as well as owning a business, and we all have our personal lives too - which are getting squeezed at the moment.
"The Taproom is set up but its not worth us opening as the Taproom through the day, we don't have the trade, but we are in the building so we figured its warm in there, we've installed heating, and brewery generates heating too.
"My partner is going to work there to save on our energy costs and I was chatting to a customer who was saying she has been looking for a place to work, but doesn't want to be cheeky just spending £2.50 on a coffee in a coffee shop so it just makes sense.
"I've made it clear that there will be zero customer services, if you want a tea or coffee then you can make the tea, but we just want a small donation to cover the cost of those.
"We want to see if we can help people, were doing it out of good will and with people spending less money on heating then that potentially means more to spend on beer."
The Taproom will be open as a work space Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm, however they are asking for people to book to make sure they have enough space - they offer Wi-Fi but have advised the mobile phone reception is fairly poor. They are also still improving the Taproom so want to make sure the space is quiet for people who have booked to use it - and ask people consider this by booking.
Matt added: "We are doing it for free to be nice and hopefully save local people money during the cost of living crisis, so they can hopefully spend it with us."
