Horse racing tips and best bets for Musselburgh, Lingfield, and Wincanton

CANCAN ((2.55) can put her best foot forward for Neil Alexander on a cracking card at Musselburgh.

The six-year-old improved again over hurdles when chinned by the talented Ravenscar at Newcastle.

The mare was staying-on very strongly late so she can extend her trainer’s excellent run over 2m 4f.

Keith Dalgleish does well here so I’m backing MONSIEUR CO (2.20) in a tricky handicap chase.

The gelding returned to form with a superb second to Clear The Runway over course and distance.

The nine-year-old remains fairly-treated so he can turn the tables on his rival under Brian Hughes.

SARYSHAGANN (4.05) can shade the Racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle for Sandy Thomson.

The gelding recorded a personal best over timber when giving Smart Lass most resistance here.

The nine-year-old looks nicely unexposed so he can go one better in this slightly weaker contest.

RIO DES ECHANAULT (4.35) can stay on track for shrewd Jess McKie in a fascinating hunter chase.

FLAGRANT DELITIEP (2.30) really stands out in the feature handicap chase at Wincanton.

Robert Walford's grey ran another stormer when second to Native Robin over track and trip.

The seven-year-old remains fairly-treated so he can resume winning ways in a similar event.

The mares’ hurdle is tricky but I’m siding with Team John & Jewell's TORBELLINO (4.15).

The six-year-old was highly unlucky to encounter the progressive Mark Of Gold at Plumpton.

That was a very respectable effort so this lightly-raced type can make a winning handicap bow.

SMOKING PIGEON (4.50) can wing it for Fergal O’Brien in the Racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle.

The gelding showed the benefits of wind surgery when edged out by Alberic at Huntingdon.

The eight-year-old remains open to plenty of progress so he can triumph upped in class.

SIR GREGORY (8.00) looks lethal for in-form Michael Appleby on the Kempton all-weather.

The gelding still lurks on a fair mark after his excellent second to the consistent Tyger Bay here.

John & Jewell can also get on the scoresheet here thanks to HOW HARD CAN IT BE (8.30).

The filly can shrug off a lenient 3lb hike for cosily defeating Parikarma over course and distance.
