Horror moment angry driver deliberately runs into flock of geese and kills several

This week, residents of Henderson, Nevada, were shocked to find their neighbourhood flock of geese had been run through by an angry driver who witnesses say, did so intentionally.

Several of the geese were killed in the tragic incident.

Migratory birds like geese are the norm around Cornerstone Park, where this happened. Previous searches for the area will bring up videos of police stopping traffic so birds could cross safely, along with footage of other cute animals that make their way through the area.

It was a day just like that for witness Halie Fraser, who told Fox 5 Vegas that she had stopped to look at "the largest flock of geese" she'd ever seen when it happened.

“They walk up and down Wigwam and they try to make their way to the reservoir over there,” explained Halie Fraser while standing on the side of the road.

“There was a couple cars in front of me that had come to a complete stop with their hazards on so I did the same and we could all see there was about 150 geese,” Fraser told the media. The geese were walking into Cornerstone Park as cars were patiently lining up, filled with families and children, all excited to snap some photos of the geese.

“Everyone was taking pictures, videos, it was adorable. There was baby geese, mom geese, dad geese,” Fraser recalled.

Suddenly, a driver in a black pick up truck did the unthinkable - with everyone watching. The truck began to swerve in between other cars and sped up to where the geese were amassing and ran right through the flock.

“The truck went thud, thud, thud and speed all the way down this road, I couldn’t believe it,” Fraser said. Fraser jumped out of her car.

“I grabbed a sweatshirt I had out of the back of my car and grabbed the only one that was still alive. I kind of just comforted it until it passed away,” Fraser recounted. Fraser contends the geese were killed on purpose. The driver must have seen the flock and all the stopped cars.

“It is truly evil what they did. To do such a deliberate massacre of these innocent animals is horrific,” Fraser contended.

Witnesses say about nine geese were killed in the incident.

Police are still searching for this enraged road driver. Geese are a federally protected migratory species, and the police are looking for the person responsible for deliberately running through a flock. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Henderson Police Department at 1-702-267-5000.
