Horror late-night attack in Leeds park leaves woman with back injuries

A woman was seriously injured in a late-night horror attack in a Leeds park.

The woman was left with arm and back injuries following the attack last night in Holbeck Moor Park.

West Yorkshire Police has released brief details of the incident. In a statement, the Force said: "Police are investigating reports of a serious assault on Holbeck Moor Park in Leeds at around 11.40pm last night. A woman suffered injuries to her arm and back.

"A scene is in place whilst forensic inquiries are ongoing.

"Anyone who saw anything suspicious in that area last night is asked to contact police via 101 or the LiveChat Options at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contactus quoting log 2041 of 26 August."
