Mishonova, who visited the child, added: “The doctors are confident that everything will be fine.

A criminal case has been opened into how the monkey escaped from the private zoo of a neighbouring house in Terpigorievo village, owned by millionaire Russian lawyer Leonid Rosenblum, 58.

The zoo was linked in media reports to his wife Nadezhda, 47.

Local officials are being investigated for failing to ensure the ‘pet zoo’ was properly secure.

They did not properly inspect the property, it is claimed.

A report said the Rosenblums keep wolves and elephants at their elite property. It then attacked Paulina who was on a stepladder close to a garden swimming pool.

Other children are seen running away, leaving the money to attack the small girl.
