Horror five vehicle crash closes busy Scots road sparking rush hour traffic chaos

Police were forced to close a busy Scots road after five vehicles crashed into each other on the A92 in Fife.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the eastbound carriageway near Lochgelly shortly before 5pm on Monday, May 15.

It is not currently known whether anyone was injured. But fellow motorists were warned to expect lengthy delays.

Pictures from the scene show lengthy tailbacks as first responders dealt with the collision. Traffic Scotland tweeted: “The eastbound carriageway remains closed due to a multi vehicle collision.
