Horror at Harry Styles Glasgow gig as man plunges from balcony into crowd below

A man fell from a balcony into the crowd below at a Harry Styles concert last night.

The former One Direction star was performing to a sold out crowd at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow on Saturday evening (June 11) when the incident happened.

Police Scotland confirmed that officers were made aware of the incident as thousands of fans thronged to the packed stadium. The man was treated at the scene.

The frightening incident unfolded just after 10pm as the singer wowed the audience on the opening night of his Love On Tour, reports Glasgow Live.

Details of any injuries have not been released, and a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were made aware of a man falling from a club deck at a premises. There were no suspicious circumstances and the man was seen to by medical staff.”

The incident followed criticism of "shambolic" queues outside the stadium with fans waiting three hours in miserable weather to get inside.

Harry Styles will head to Manchester later this week for two sell-out nights at Emirates Old Trafford on Wednesday and Thursday. During Glasgow's show, the singer was seen wearing a jacket in the colour of yellow and blue - an apparent nod to the conflict in Ukraine.

The singer recently released his third studio album Harry's House, featuring the hits As It Was and Late Night Talking. It reached number one on both the UK and US charts upon its release last month.
