A child is fighting for their life after being hit by a motorbike in Warwickshire.
Officers with Warwickshire Police were called to a field off Old Brickyard Lane in Napton, a village in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday evening.
The force said a child had been involved in a collision with a small motorbike and was left with life-threatening injuries.
A village show, the Napton Horse, Pony and Dog Show was held throughout the day.
However, it was not clear if the incident happened at the show itself.
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said on Saturday night: “Earlier this evening a young child was taken to hospital with life-threatening head injuries after a collision involving a small motorbike in a field off Old Brickyard Lane in Napton.
“If you have dashcam or phone footage of it, please contact us quoting incident 275 of May 25.”
Witnesses to the incident have been urged to come forward.
In its advertising, the Napton Horse, Pony and Dog Show describes itself as "a traditional village show, in the heart of rural Warwickshire. Fun for all the family and an enjoyable day out.”
