Horrified Holly Willoughby chips tooth on meal cooked by husband Dan

Holly Willoughby wasn't best pleased after chipping a tooth on a meal cooked by her husband last night.

The presenter and mum-of-three, 41, tucked into a dinner of steamed mussels served up by husband Dan Baldwin - but was horrified to lose part of her tooth in the process.

Opening This Morning today alongside co-star Phillip Schofield, she recalled what had happened.

The pair had been giggling when they welcomed viewers to to show, prompting Phil to reveal: "She said just 30 seconds ago - in fact, only 10 seconds ago - 'I just chipped my tooth on a mussel yesterday' and I said, 'What, Dan's?'"

Holly laughed as she said: "Dan cooked for me - very nice! There was cod in a broth and there was mussels in it, which was quite brave because you know what I'm like with mussels.

"And as I fished them out to eat it there was a tiny bit of shell in it. Luckily I think it's the back of my tooth. So it's all alright."

Phil quipped: "I thought for a minute he'd been working out!"

It comes after ITV celebrated Phil's 40th work anniversary with a special hour-long episode on Lorraine.

His wife Stephanie Lowe appeared via video link with their daughter Molly as she was quizzed on his key to success.

Holly recalled the awkward moment with Phil (ITV)

She said: "I don't have a clue! I think your previous guests have hit the nail on the head. He's genuinely interested in people and the news. He's great fun!"

"I've always been so proud of him," Molly replied as she recalled queuing up for his autograph once.

Lorraine asked: "What do girls mean to you?"

Phil was surprised by Lorraine yesterday (ITV)

"Everything! I mean, we clearly had changes in our lives," Phil replied. But as I said, it's always been us four, but slightly different. Steph has been the most incredible foundation and support and rock throughout my career.

Lorraine added, addressing Steph: "And 40 years! I mean, here's to the next 40, eh Steph?

"Yes, I need him to keep on working," Steph joked.

They all laughed as Lorraine said: "As always, the last word!"
