Tight end now slots as one of the biggest needs for the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason.
Tuesday, The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr. reported that breakout rookie tight end Erick All Jr. will likely miss the entire 2025 season.
According to the report, the torn ACL All suffered in November uncovered complications from prior knee surgery, requiring two operations instead of one to correct.
It’s a brutal blow for All and the Bengals. The Iowa product fell to the fourth round due to prior injuries and quickly carved out a role for himself in the base offense — to the point coaches started reworking things to get him on the field.

With All sidelined until 2026, the Bengals have a big problem at a position they need big production out of for Joe Burrow.
Both Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson are free agents, with Gesicki potentially looking at a big deal from another team — like the veteran tight ends before him who enjoyed a Burrow Bump.
That leaves Drew Sample, Tanner McLachlan and undrafted rookie Cam Grandy on the roster right now.
Considering the need to get massive names costly extensions and shore up other key positions this offseason as it is, a serious need at tight end only further complicates a key offseason for the Bengals.
