The Charlotte Hornets rode their red-hot shooting to their first victory of the preseason on Thursday night, knocking off the Orlando Magic on the road, 123-115.
The Hornets’ starting backcourt of Devonte’ Graham and Terry Rozier started the night off strong with the latter scoring a flurry of baskets in the first quarter en route to a team-high 20 points. Graham served as the facilitator early before scoring in the second half, tallying 18 points and six assists.
LaMelo Ball had his best game of the preseason, scoring 18 points off the bench while Miles Bridges continued his strong preseason with 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
Nikola Vucevic had a game-high 27 points for the Magic.
