Arsenal supporters are up in arms after seeing West Ham make four changes to their starting lineup to face Manchester City. Sections of the Gunners fanbase were hoping that the Hammers would field a strong side and potentially derail the reigning Premier League champions' title bid.
Mikel Arteta's side are two points clear of City at the top of the table, though they have two games in hand. After the north Londoners have struggled to hold their nerve in the run-in, Arsenal fans are now hoping that other clubs can give them a helping hand.
But, with a more favourable tie against Manchester United at the weekend and a huge Europa Conference League semi-final tie on the horizon, David Moyes has omitted Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Nayef Aguerd and Kurt Zouma. It's said that there is a bug going around West Ham at the moment, but it remains to be seen which of the four changes are forced with only 18 players named in the travelling squad.

Despite the arrival of Jorginho on deadline day, football.london understand that Arsenal still hold a strong interest in Rice. However, it's also understood that the Hammers captain remains a key target for Chelsea as well.
Rice is under contract at the London Stadium until 2024, with David Moyes' side holding the option to extend his stay by a further year. The England international is yet to sign a new deal at West Ham and he's previously voiced his ambition to play in the Champions League.
