A man has been killed and another arrested after an early hours domestic violence-related incident south of Brisbane.
Police were called to a property at Redwood Street in Marsden about 1am on Tuesday, following reports of a serious assault.
Officers arrested a 30-year-old Marsden man when they arrived. A short time later, a 67-year-old man from the same suburb was found dead in the property’s backyard.
A 60-year-old woman was also at the home, but she was uninjured.
Police launched a homicide investigation following the death and a crime scene was declared at the location.
All three of the people were believed to be known to each other, police said.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
