A dad is set to marry his teenage sweetheart after spending years homeless.
Kurt Sacharewicz met Suzanne Taylor when the pair were at high school in Runcorn years ago. The pair dated as teenagers before they would eventually go their separate ways, with them both entering long-term relationships with other partners.
Years later when he was in his thirties Kurt, was left homeless after the breakdown of his relationship. For years he lived in sheltered accommodation, suffering extreme anxiety which left him struggling to even go outside or to socialise.

Kurt, now 41, told the ECHO: "We dated in high school but we both went our separate ways after that and had our own families and relationships.
"My relationship with my ex ended in my thirties and I was spiralling from that. I wasn't able to pay my bills or child support and had to move from a house to a flat, then again move out of there and become homeless.
"I ended up living in sheltered accommodation for a few years. The house had twelve people in it and I moved in when I was around 35 or 36.
"My support worker was amazing. He helped me and everyone out so much. He was over worked in his job but still managed to do so much for everyone."
Suzannne has also helped Kurt find work suitable for him and the pair now both work as carers at Home Instead Wirral. Suzanne was a teacher before she quit and took up the position.
Kurt was still living in sheltered accommodation when he and Suzanne began speaking again. He said: "She was sat with her friend I think and they were talking about relationships.
"She said something like the only person who was ever really nice to me was Kurt. A relative of mine told me she'd been talking about me and soon we got talking again and hit it off from day one.
"Her relationship ended a few months before we got back together in January 2021.
"I wasn't good around people as it set off my anxiety but Suzanne has always been a lovely soul and has never had a bad bone in her body. She basically saved me.
"We're getting married in August. We're going to get married in Runcorn where we're from."
Kurt told the ECHO how Suzanne played a big part in encouraging to join her working at Home Instead Wirral.
He added: "I was dealing with a huge amount of anxiety at the time, I couldn't go out into the street or anything. I couldn't do any of the usual work available like going to warehouses or anything like that.
"At the time Suzanne was coming home and telling me all about how much she loved her job as a carer and how the people she worked with were so nice. I thought then it just sounded like it was for me.
"It's been going great so far. I've only had a few clients because I work night shifts doing these sleeping shifts where I'll stay over and get up in the night whenever the patient needs it.
"When I first get there in the first 30 minutes or so they just chat and its really beautiful. When I go and see the lady I'm caring for now it's like she's my auntie."
