One savvy Homebase customer shared details online of a piece of furniture that had its price dramatically reduced by the retailer, and most shoppers agree that it is a "bargain".
The home and garden chain is selling its grey Diva Coffee Table for the price of £45 — while it was originally available for £175.
According to Homebase's website, the coffee table "features a delightful dove grey tone combined with a warm oak-effect top".

The product description continues: "There's a wonderful mix of classic and contemporary features in this table. The cornice and plinth-like base along with the cup handles keep things traditional whilst the grey finish offers a modern twist on that traditional two-tone look."
The table also features a shelf for books and magazines and flip-down door to conceal clutter.
Sharing details on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, the shopper who noticed the discount wrote: "Picked up my Homebase bargain last night! £45 reduced from £175 and its massive!
"So much storage as well, both sides are the same. Comes flat packed so took a little while to make but so worth it."
Before long, the post had attracted almost 2,000 likes and more than 340 comments from fellow bargain hunters sharing their thoughts.
