Home with steps down to river in the garden for sale

A home has been listed for sale which has steps down to a local beauty spot.

The four bedroom detached house is found in the “highly desirable” area adjoining the River Dibbin. Nestled on a cul-de-sac, Aldford Close, Bromborough, the home sits on a plot with off road parking and a tiered garden with mature woodland surrounding.

It’s on the market with Constables for offers over £550,000. Properties in Bromborough had an overall average price of £213,913 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

Most of the sales in Bromborough during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £212,011. Terraced properties sold for an average of £165,966, with detached properties fetching £357,670.

Overall, sold prices in Bromborough over the last year were similar to the previous year and 13% up on the 2018 peak of £188,863.Properties within 0.1mile from Alford Close specifically however, have a higher asking price than average.

Homes listed within a short distance sold for £395,000 and £375,000 in the last year. While properties under offer were listed on Rightmove for £579,9995 on Brookhurst Road and £465,000 on Mere Avenue.

The extension has been taken up by an open-plan integrated kitchen and dining area. There's also a new separate utility room and new bathrooms. The ground floor also benefits from an office room, that is currently being used as a gym space.

An additional living room is also enclosed from the rest of the lower level, for added cosiness. The lounge has a double sided inset fire that adjoins the seating area in the open plan living kitchen/diner.

There's also access to the garage and storage area from the utility room. On the first floor are four bedrooms. One of which has an en-suite with walk-in shower. There is also a separate bathroom with free standing bath and large walk-in shower.
