The Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island in the Bahamas is a popular spot for golfers soaking up the sun on vacation.
But why only visit once a year, or even worse, once in a lifetime?
For a cool $17 million, you can purchase Villa Tarka, a custom 20,000-square-foot home that sits on the 16th hole of the Tom Weiskopf-designed course. Ocean Club is currently at No. 35 on the list of Golfweek’s Best courses in Mexico, the Caribbean, Atlantic islands and Central America. The LPGA’s Pure Silk-Bahamas Classic was held on the property from 2013 through 2018 with Brittany Lincicome winning the last two events.
As you might expect, the estate has all the bells and whistles, including an infinity-edged pool, an outdoor shower and a professional tennis court with an air-conditioned tennis pavilion.
Looking to host? No problem. Villa Tarka has a dozen bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, many with sweeping views of the ocean. Also, those with club memberships can use the golf course as well as facilities at the nearby Atlantis Resort and Casino.
