The BBC is to close the home of CBBC and CBeebies at MediaCity in Salford in a bid to cut costs.
The broadcaster will exit Bridge House by the spring of 2024 and relocate staff to nearby Quay House and Dock House.
Bridge House is the base of BBC Children’s and Education as well as some BBC Sport and operations staff.

Bridge House, Dock House and Quay House are home to some 2,700 BBC staff.
The BBC also confirmed it is to move out of Wogan House in London, home to some of Radio 2 and 6 Music’s programme teams and staff from other departments.
It said the plans will reduce the size of its property portfolio as part of ongoing reforms to "deliver a simpler, leaner and more efficient organisation".
The BBC said: "A reduction in the size of the estate will help deliver the BBC’s net zero commitments as a smaller property footprint will lead to a reduction in overall greenhouse gas emissions. It also complements the adoption of hybrid working which has resulted in changes to how we use our buildings.
"Audiences will not notice any changes to programmes and services as a result of these moves taking place."
