Home Bargains shoppers have been raving about a range of perfumes available in stores that make convincing dupes for designer versions - except they're almost £100 cheaper.
One shopper praised Home Bargains on TikTok for "stepping up their game" with the collection of fragrances that are priced between just 99p and £3.99 each - a huge saving compared to the popular originals from the likes of YSL, Chanel and Marc Jacobs. In the clip, TikTok user Georgia dubbed the new range "unreal" and said that the fragrances smell "just like the originals".
The collection includes dupes of Giorgio Armani's Si perfume, Marc Jacob's Daisy, Chanel's No. 5 and Coco Mademoiselle, Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir and Honeysuckle and Jasmine, Victor & Rolf's Bonbon, and YSL Black Opium. Chanel No. 5 typically retails at £91 for 50ml, while Home Bargains' Miss Chicago dupe costs just £1.99 - saving shoppers a whopping £89, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Several shoppers vouched for the cheap dupes in the comments section, with the Jo Malone pomegranate-scented alternative proving to be a particular stand-out. "I've had the pomegranate one for ages and get so many compliments on it, and it actually lasts!" one person wrote.
Another added: "the pomegranate one is beautiful so strong." Others pointed out that other budget retailers including Primark and Poundland also offer a range of perfume dupes at a fraction of the price.
But over at Home Bargains, shoppers said that it's not just dupes on women's perfume that can be snapped up in stores. One TikTok user advised: "They do them in men's as well - they have Jean Paul Gaultier, Invictus and One Million."
While another person pointed out: "The body sprays are banging too for 79p, Xalien and Black Poppy. Exactly like Alien and Black Opium - they also have Daisee which is [like] Marc Jacobs."
