With Valentine's Day getting closer and closer, many shoppers are on the hunt for an affordable gift for that special someone in their lives.
Home Bargains is praised across Merseyside for its affordable products including homeware and clothing, and this year, they've got an array of different Valentine's Day gifts on offer. Showcasing a £1.49 mug to its 1m followers on Facebook, the 'cute' gift soon gained plenty of attention online.
The Facebook post read: "[loveheart emoji] if you love our [love heart emoji] mug. £1.49." It racked up over 600 likes from Home Bargains shoppers, keen to snap up the Valentine's Day gift.

It appears the mug is definitely proving popular, with one shopper claiming they took the trip to Home Bargains to specifically pick up the product but couldn't find it. Many Home Bargains fans tagged their friends in the Facebook post to show them the mug.
Among the comments, one shopper said: "Bought 2 today [loveheart emoji]." A second shopper said: "Didn’t have it in the Chichester store. Sad, lack of anything really, it’s all I went for [sad face emoji]."
A third tagged their friend and said: "Home Bargains Friday?" A fourth Home Bargains shopper commented: "Cute [love heart emoji]."
