Home Bargains shoppers have been rushing to snap up an air fryer that has received rave reviews - and is currently on sale for almost half its usual price.
The Swan: Carlton 4 Litre Air Fryer in rose gold has been flying off the shelves both in stores and online, with the newest batch released on October 31 already having sold out on the Home Bargains website. But you may still be able to pick one up in shops if you're lucky, or keep checking the Home Bargains Facebook page to see whether it comes back in stock.
Priced at £44.99, the stylish air fryer promises "an easy way to cook crispy, delicious meals quickly while requiring minimal clean-up", suitable for anything from chips, meat and vegetables to desserts that can be cooked in minutes using just a spoonful of oil. According to Home Bargains, it is 30% faster than the conventional oven - and lots of shoppers have already been sold on it, the Liverpool Echo reports.

After Home Bargains advertised that the air fryer was back in stock, adding that it was a great way to "cook up healthier versions of all your family's favourites and save on your energy bills", hundreds of shoppers took to the comments section to praise the kitchen gadget. "I have this, best thing I ever bought," one person wrote.
"We got this and we love it!" another added. "Rarely use the oven!"
A third shopper said: "I love mine! So much quicker than the oven."
Home Bargains describes the air fryer as an ideal size for families with a 4L capacity easy-clean and non-stick cooking basket, suitable to roast, grill and bake a variety of both fresh and frozen foods as well as air frying. The appliance comes with controls that are simple to use, with a temperature control ranging from 80-200°C and a 30-minute timer to make meal times hassle-free.
A recent study carried out by Hometree found that the average air fryer uses around 30p worth of energy for each hour it's used. This makes it a great cost-cutting alternative to the oven for those looking to save money on their bills, as the average oven costs 68p per hour to use according to the research.
