Home Bargains shoppers go wild for Zara 'dupe' handbag which costs just £9

Savvy Home Bargains customers have shared a fashion find in the store that's sure to save shoppers a few pounds.

The store, which has more than 500 branches across the UK, is well-known for its budget buys - stocking everything from homeware and garden furniture to kids’ toys. Now shoppers are also keeping their eyes peeled in Home Bargains for new additions to their wardrobe after one customer discovered a stylish ‘dupe’.

A member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook shared their find of a green quilted shoulder bag with a gold chain, which they compared to a similar find in Zara . However, Zara’s version of the bag would set you back around £26 - while the cheaper Home Bargains version costs just £9.

The delighted shopper wrote in the group: “Found Zara dupe handbag in Home Bargains £9 also had it in orange.” And fellow bargain hunters were quick to share their excitement at the find with the Facebook post racking up hundreds of comments, the Daily Record reports .

“I need it,” one shopper wrote.

Another thrilled customer added: “Brb RUNNING to Home Bargains!!”

“Omg I loveeeeee,” said a third group member.

The bargain accessory isn’t the only thing that shoppers on a budget can find in Home Bargains. The Manchester Evening News recently reported that the retailer could even give the major supermarkets a run for their money when it comes to the weekly shop.

Alongside the homeware, toys and health and beauty essentials, Home Bargains also stocks plenty of tinned and non-perishable food, and has large fridge and freezer sections stacked with fruit and veg. The Byker branch even has a bakery, offering shoppers plenty of choice in their food shop.

A new Home Bargains store created 50 new jobs when it opened in Ashington ’s Portland Park back in April this year, following a £3.5million investment. You can find your nearest Home Bargains store via their store locator on their website .
