Home Bargains shopper praises £1.50 product that leaves blinds looking 'brand new'

One Home Bargains customer was able to transform the look their blinds using a product sold by the budget retailer for only £1.49.

The chain sells a degreaser spray that the shopper picked up to clean off the grime from their kitchen blinds, and the results are "amazing".

Posting photos before and after using the product on the Cleaning tips and tricks Facebook group, the stains can be seen to disappear.

Alongside the images, the shopper wrote: "Okkkk guys! I put a post a few months ago asking for the best possible way to clean fitted blinds! Not much response so I took it on my self to make my own method and omg WOW - if it didn’t work they was being binned!

"Yess I’m absolutely ashamed they even got to this point, but cooking in a small confined space with no working extractor fan it was bound to happen! Before and after below! I used £1.49 degreaser spray from Home Bargains."

Before long, the post had attracted more than 3,200 likes and more than 330 comments from fellow consumers sharing their thoughts.

"Amazing look brand new definitely going to clean my blinds," stated a fifth.

Other members of the group suggested other methods to clean blinds.

One posted: "I take them off and set them in the bath with some washing up liquid or a washing tablet and let them dry hung up"

"I have the same blinds .. dust them with a hoover .. then a wet cloth with a bit of bleach every so often," a second revealed.

A third said: "Post em up on fence or something open them by twisting then wet them thoroughly then spray then making sure to get every crack and crevice".
