A popular Halloween home accessory which has sold out two years running is back in stock at Home Bargains - but it’s certain to vanish off the shelves ahead of October 31. Eagle-eyed shoppers have been snapping up the glass pumpkin jars after spotting them in store over the last week.
Last year, the sought-after jar saw shoppers queuing outside stores at 7am on delivery days in the hopes of getting their hands on the stylish homeware piece.
During a recent trip to the bargain store, I noticed there was plenty of stock of the glass pumpkins, which retail at £4.99 each. While browsing the aisles, a shopper picked one up to take to the till, with a member of staff commenting ‘people went mad for those last year.

Luckily, I didn’t need to pick up one of the glass pumpkins, because I got three last year - one for myself, and two others for family members.
The jar is perfect for stocking up with sweets ready for Trick or Treaters on October 31, or could be filled with popcorn for the ultimate Halloween movie night - we recommend Hocus Pocus.
But others have used the jar for decoration, filling it with autumn leaves or fairy lights, which could act as an ambient lamp to save turning the big light on in the evenings and the days get shorter.
The pumpkin jar has been shared all over social media on money saving pages and bargain groups. Money Saver by Dansway shared a photo of the homeware pumpkin, which has since racked up 1.1k comments from shoppers desperate to bag one for themselves, and others who have shown off their purchase and how they styled it.
One shopper made a genius suggestion, writing: “Anyone else thinking that would be a great cocktail bowl and just get straws?”
Another commented: “Very well made,my husband wanted to fill them with sweets but I decided to use maple lights and pine cones.”
The decorative glass pumpkin jar is only available in store at Home Bargains.
