Home Bargains enthusiasts are flocking to their nearest store after the retailer announced the return of its heated clothes airer that costs literal pennies to run.
With energy prices soaring during the cost of living, many households have been looking for ways to reduce their electricity bill while doing the laundry. One such method has been to grab a heated clothes airer, as they are said to be much cheaper than using the tumble dryer.
While there are many out there on the market, Home Bargains has officially brought back its sellout HomeApp Store: 220 Watt Heated Clothes Airer. Officially a hit with shoppers back in December, the nifty appliance is now cheaper as it has been reduced from £44.99 to just £39.99.
Described as "eco-friendly and cost effective", the bargain retailer's heated airer provides 53 x 90cm additional drying surface, with 18 heated bars to speed up the drying process. It also comes complete with foldable wings which makes it perfect for storing away when not in use.
Using 220W of power, the HomeApp Store Heated Clothes Airer also only uses around 7p per hour, which is significantly cheaper than the 37.5p per hour it would roughly cost you to use the tumble dryer.
Not only is Home Bargains heated airer cost-effective, but it is also one of the cheapest models on the market right now. A similar Status 220W Portable Heated Airer with Wings from Robert Dyas would set you back £49.99, while the Minky Wing 12m Heated Clothes Airer with Wings costs £55 from Argos.
Shoppers who have purchased the "brilliant" clothes airer quickly rushed to tag friends and family after Home Bargains confirmed it was back in stock on Facebook recently.
One person tagged their friend and said: "If there is one at yours could you get me one please?"
While a second asked their friend: "Maybe you could get me one of these if you go???"
Another who tagged their friend commented: "This what you need."
While a fourth simply said: "It's brilliant."
The Home Bargains HomeApp Store: 220 Watt Heated Clothes Airer is priced at £39.99 and is available to buy online now.
