Home Bargains £3 stain remover homeowners claim 'saved their lives'

Anyone who has a light carpet at home will know all about the fear of spilling a dark liquid onto but now shoppers think they've found a "magic" solution.

Home Bargains stain remover is loved by homeowners who claims it can removed "everything" and the best part is it only costs around £3.

Dr Beckmann Carpet Stain remover is available to buy from Home Bargains as well as the majority of supermarkets. It comes with a cleaning applicator too and has even been praised by Instagram cleaning star Mrs Hinch.

In its reviews, one shoppers said: "Just used this for the first time it’s brilliant, the attached brush is a great idea and it cleans really quickly with very little scrubbing.

Another said: "Great product - it’s cleaned up an old sweet & sour sauce stain that I couldn’t get rid of before. Definitely going to keep a spare in the cupboard."

A third added: "Saved my life! "Amazing product and gets rid of tough stains ! Saved me having to get carpet replaced."

On Twitter, the praise is just as strong too, with @Ashllyd tweeting: "You need this Dr Beckmann carpet cleaner! It removes EVERYTHING.

"In most supermarkets, it's honestly like magic."

And, @gleepface said: "S**t Dr Beckmann carpet cleaner got red wine out of my cream carpet, worth a try!"

Does it work?

We can confirm, after using this product ourselves, the rave reviews about this product are correct.

Having spilled a can of Coca Cola onto a light grey carpet after moving into a new home, the panic started to set in about how the stain would ever come out.

Our reporter decided to try the Dr Beckmann product after spotting it in a local Home Bargains store.

According to the product description, it says: "With its powerful oxy formula and built-in brush, Dr Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover 650ml effectively removes heavy soil and unsightly spills such as red wine, coffee, fruit juice, grease and other common household stains from carpets and upholstery.

"The cleaning brush gets deep into the stain, whilst the special oxy-powered formula also eliminates odour."

Our images were taken before and immediately after using the product which proves its 'magic' does actually work.

We picked it up from Home Bargains for around £2.49, but it is available from Asda and Wilko too.
